On April 30, our community gathered for a meaningful and enriching Parents’ Education Night, led by psychotherapist Laura Pichardo, who facilitated the workshop: “Building Resilience: How to Help Our Children Overcome Anxiety.”
The evening was much more than just theory; it was filled with practical tools, relatable stories, and clear strategies for supporting our children’s emotional well-being, while also strengthening each parent’s confidence in their role.
In a world where anxiety is an increasingly common part of many children’s lives, this event offered timely guidance and a deep sense of community. Above all, it was an evening of learning, connection, and reflection. Our parents left with useful resources, but also with hope and the reminder that raising our children is not a solo endeavor, but a journey we take together.
At CIS, we believe that educating also means empowering those who guide our students. Thank you to everyone who participated with an open heart and a willingness to grow.
